FAQs

How much Is the single supplement?
There is no single supplement on any of our tours. We stay in accommodation which either, does not charge a supplement for travelling singly, or we have negotiated with them not to charge us any supplements.
What style of accommodation do you have on the tours?
All accommodation is the equivalent of Australian 4 star accommodation, wherever possible. Mostly it is in boutique smaller hotels rather than big chains. Occasionally, in order to ensure the quality we want, we use larger chains. We try to ensure that on each tour there is at least one place that provides something luxurious.
Do I have to share a room if I come on my own?
No, all ‘Wanderers’ have their own ensuite room on each of the tours.
What is included in the cost of the tour?
It depends on the tour but generally it includes airfares, transfers to and from the airport in the state/country we visit, accommodation for the tour, excursions, breakfasts, some lunches and some dinners as well as travel internal in the state/country visited.
What precautions do you take for Covid-19?
It is a requirement, for the foreseeable future, that all clients provide proof of double vaccination and potentially booster vaccinations as well. All clients will be required to take a Covid-19 test within 7 days of the departure date of the tour. All staff are vaccinated and take tests regularly. Mask wearing is a requirement on planes and in many public indoor spaces. Our minibuses will be wiped down internally after each exit and re – entry on tour.
What happens if the Covid-19 test comes back positive just before the tour?
All clients must take out your own travel insurance on any tour with Wandering Women. This is a standard practice recommended across the industry. Once proof of the positive test result is provided to us we will assist you to claim your travel costs from your insurer.
