Adelaide: 2 Nights

Days 1 - 2
Leave Sydney flying to Adelaide with a short 2 day action packed stopover. We stay in quality accommodation in Adelaide. We drive to Victor Harbour and take a spectacular cruise, spend time in this lovely seaside town with lunch at nearby Goolwa, the mouth of Australia's longest river, the Murray.We return via Mt Lofty, the largest peak in the Mt Lofty Ranges.Attracting more than 350,000 people per annum, Mt Lofty provides panoramic views across Adelaide as well as a variety of bush walks followed by...afternoon tea.Then we head back to Adelaide.

Outback Regions: 5 Nights

Days 3 - 8
We spend the next 5 days exploring the outback regions of South Australia. We stay at Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, William Creek, Wilpena Pound (All meals from Morning Tea on Day 3 included). During this time we visit Salt lakes, Arid Lands Botanical Gardens, Woomera Rocket Range and sleep underground at Coober Pedy. We see the Dingo Fence, explore underground mines and churches and fly over the magnificent Painted Hills, a once in a lifetime opportunity. We follow the Oodnadatta Track and walk at south Lake Eyre. We head back via the Barossa Valley stopping for lunch before boarding the Sealink ferry to Kangaroo Island.

Kangaroo Island: 2 Nights

Days 9 - 10
We spend the next 2 days on Kangaroo Island.
We spend our first night at American River on Kangaroo Island, the following day we visit a Eucalyptus distillery, National Parks with some of the special parts of Kangaroo Island to explore. We visit a honey farm and spend our second night at Kingscote. The next morning we're off on a walk at Seal Bay, guided by a local Ranger, explore some more of the natural attractions of Kangaroo Island and finish off our visit with a tour of KI Spirits before returning to Adelaide on the ferry.

Meals - All meals included until dinner on Day 10.

Adelaide: 2 Nights

Days 11 - 12
For this 2 night stay we are in a different part of Adelaide. We visit the beautiful Clare Valley, Maggie Beer’s famous farm and café (yes, we eat there) and the German influenced town of Hahndorf where we spend time at the Hans Heysen Gallery before heading back to Adelaide.On our last day in South Australia we spend time exploring Adelaide a little more, with some time at leisure before preparing to head to the Northern Territory.

Darwin: 3 Nights

Days 13 - 15
Heading out early from Adelaide we fly to Darwin for a 3 night stay. We arrive in Darwin in time for lunch (you might notice a theme here). In the afternoon we get to see crodiles up close, explore a bit of Darwin and in the evening head to the outdoor cinema for a movie al fresco!
The following day we head to beautiful Litchfield Park about an hour and a half's drive south of Darwin. We will be taking a cruise and walking in the Park, swimmers are a good idea as well - not for the river but for the waterhole. We return to Darwin in time to stop and see the spectacular sunset from Mindil Markets. We will be having dinner (your choice) at the markets before heading back to our accommodation.

On our last day in Darwin we will be touring a number of it's best facilities including the Art Gallery, with spectacular Aboriginal art displays, the Royal Flying Doctor facility and the Museum. From there we head to Kakadu National Park.

Kakadu: 2 Nights

Days 16 - 17

Having settled into our accommodation overnight we head out to a watercruise with a difference. Not a river but the wetlands.The following day, we are visiting the Injalak Arts Centre where we will spend time with an elder who will explain some of the customs, and stories from this country.On our second night of the two night stay we have dinner together and get ready for our next stop We leave in the afternoon to drive to Katherine about an

Meals - Breakfast and Lunch

Katherine: 1 Night

Day 18

Leaving Kakadu early, we head south to Katherine arriving in time to tour the Cutta Cutta Caves. After lunch we cruise through the famous Katherine Gorge enjoying both the history and the beauty. We are overnighting in Katherine before catching a flight to Alice Springs tomorrow.

Alice Springs: 3 Nights

Days 19 - 22

After flying from Katherine to Alice Springs, our base for the next 3 nights we start our exploration of this special central Australian city. On Day 2 here we have a full day tour to Palm Valley with a 7am start returning at 5.30pm.
Our final day is another full day of touring starting at 7.45am to visit the stunning West McDonnel Ranges and returning at 5.30pm.

Kings Canyon: 1 Night

Day 23

We leave Alice Springs heading out on the five hour drive with a local driver who will tell you all you want to know about the areas we are travelling through to reach Kings Canyon. There we will walk Kings Canyon, either the rim or the canyon floor walk depending on weather, group preferences and time. We overnight at the resort before heading for our last stop of the tour.

Uluru: 2 Nights

Days 24 - 26

After Kings Canyon we move on to the magnificent Uluru, arriving in time to head out to the Field of Lights before dinner. Up early the following morning we enjoy the rock up close and walk part of the 10 elm around t'base. The changes in colour are easily noticed up close.Later that morning we head to Kata Juta, another stunning landscape to explore with time to return and get ready for dinner under the stars. We have the morning to relax before catching our flight back to Sydney.
